  • $SES investors filed a claim against SES AI for allegedly overstating battery deal prospects, Molecular Universe demand, and near-term revenue growth.
  • After SES AI reported logistics delays and 2026 revenue guidance below expectations, $SES fell 36.8% on March 5, 2026, closing at $1.08 per share.
  • $SES investors can join this case to be notified about potential recovery.
Case Details:

Between January 29, 2025 and March 4, 2026, SES AI told investors it was expanding into battery energy storage systems, drones, robotics, and AI-driven battery materials. Executives emphasized a potential $45 million AISPEX pipeline, a “significant” Data Blanket order, the UZ Energy acquisition, and a Hisun joint venture tied to Molecular Universe.

However, during this period, investors allege SES AI’s announced opportunities were weaker than represented. SES AI allegedly failed to disclose several touted deals involving companies with limited or unclear operations. Molecular Universe revenue may have been supported by transactions in which SES AI purchased goods from companies that later purchased Molecular Universe licenses, and logistics constraints delayed shipments, hurting fourth-quarter 2025 revenue.

Then, on March 4, 2026, the company revealed that logistics constraints delayed shipments at the end of 2025, pushing about $1.5 million of revenue into the first quarter of 2026. $SES fell 36.8% on March 5, 2026, closing at $1.08.

Additional revelations followed on March 5, 2026, including reports that SES AI’s 2026 revenue guidance of $30 million to $35 million was below the $51.67 million analysts expected.

By March 5, 2026, shares had dropped to $1.08, representing a 36.8% decline during the correction period.

Based on these events, $SES investors filed a claim against SES AI, alleging the company:
  • It overstated the strength of its battery deals.
  • It promoted Molecular Universe and partner relationships without revealing alleged weaknesses in customer demand and operations.
  • It caused investors to reassess SES AI’s growth prospects when the truth emerged.
Investors argue SES AI misled the market about its commercial progress and revenue outlook, causing losses when the truth emerged.
