Attorneys review the case details to decide whether to proceed with a class action.
D. Arizona

Case number02/24/2026
Class period Start05/26/2026
Class period End08/04/2026
Lead Plaintiff motion deadline- $VRRM investors filed a claim against Verra Mobility for overstating its Commercial Services outlook while allegedly concealing risks around its Avis Budget contract renewal.
- After Verra Mobility announced Avis Budget’s termination notice and lowered 2026 guidance, $VRRM fell 70.6% on May 27, 2026.
- $VRRM investors can join this case to be notified about potential recovery.
Case Details:
Between February 24, 2026 and May 26, 2026, Verra Mobility told investors its Commercial Services segment had strong rental-car tolling demand and durable customer relationships. Executives emphasized long-standing relationships with major rental-car companies, mid-single-digit Commercial Services growth, and confidence in the company’s 2026 outlook.
However, during this period, investors allege Verra Mobility’s growth plan depended heavily on renewing its Avis Budget relationship. Verra Mobility allegedly failed to disclose that the Avis renewal was a major risk to 2026 guidance, that major rental-car customers could replace Verra Mobility with internal systems or other providers, and that Commercial Services growth and profitability were more vulnerable than investors were told.
Then, on May 26, 2026, the company revealed Avis Budget had sent a termination notice effective September 2026 and lowered its full-year 2026 financial outlook.
$VRRM fell 70.6%, closing at $3.85. Additional revelations followed on June 1, 2026, including the sudden transition of President and Chief Executive Officer David Roberts.
By May 27, 2026, shares had dropped to $3.85, representing a total decline of 70.6% over the correction period.
Based on these events, $VRRM investors filed a claim against Verra Mobility, alleging the company:
- It overstated the strength of the Avis Budget relationship.
- It assured investors about Commercial Services growth while hiding serious renewal and replacement risks.
- It caused investors to suffer losses when Avis Budget’s termination notice and reduced guidance were revealed.
Investors argue Verra Mobility misled the market about its key customer relationships and Commercial Services outlook, causing losses when the truth emerged.
