D. Nevada
Court26-CV-00231
Case number01/27/2026
Class period Start01/29/2026
Class period End04/03/2026
Lead Plaintiff motion deadline- $RR investors filed a claim against Richtech Robotics Inc. for allegedly misleading investors about a purported Microsoft collaboration and failing to disclose that no commercial collaboration or joint engineering effort existed.
- After media reports stated Microsoft denied any partnership and described the engagement as a standard customer program with “no commercial element,” $RR fell 27.04% from $5.51 on January 27, 2026 to $4.02 on January 29, 2026.
- $RR investors can join this case to be notified about potential recovery.
Case Details:
Between January 27, 2026 and 12:00 PM EST on January 29, 2026, Richtech Robotics Inc. told investors it was engaged in a “hands-on collaboration” with Microsoft through Microsoft’s AI Co-Innovation Labs, including a “joint engineering effort” to enhance Richtech’s ADAM robot using Azure AI and to “jointly develop and deploy” agentic AI capabilities.
However, during this period, investors allege Richtech did not have a commercial collaboration or joint engineering effort with Microsoft, and failed to disclose that the claimed collaborative/commercial relationship did not exist as represented.
Then, on January 29, 2026, Hunterbrook Media published an article titled “Breaking: Microsoft Denies Partnership with Richtech Robotics,” quoting a Microsoft representative stating Richtech’s participation was a standard customer engagement and that there was “no commercial element.” The stock fell $1.06 per share, or 20.87%, closing at $4.02.
Additional market losses followed the next day. By January 30, 2026, shares closed at $3.58.Based on these events, $RR investors filed a claim against Richtech Robotics, alleging the company:
- It concealed that it did not have a collaborative and commercial relationship with Microsoft
- It mischaracterized the nature of its Microsoft engagement as a meaningful collaboration/partnership
- It misled investors about the company’s business, operations, and prospects, allegedly inflating the stock price
Investors argue Richtech Robotics misled the market about its Microsoft relationship, causing losses when the truth emerged.
