- After Roblox cut 2026 bookings growth guidance and disclosed weaker engagement impacts, $RBLX fell 18.3% on May 1, 2026.
- $RBLX investors can join this case to be notified about potential recovery.
Case Details:
Between October 30, 2025 and April 30, 2026, Roblox told investors its platform had strong organic growth and that new technology rollouts supported future expansion. Executives emphasized viral user growth, confidence in age-check adoption, growth among older users, and 22% to 26% expected bookings growth for 2026.
However, during this period, investors allege Roblox’s age verification rollout was creating bigger problems than investors were told. Roblox allegedly failed to disclose that age-check enrollment could slow quickly, reduced communication on the platform could hurt engagement, app store ratings, and organic sign-ups, and 2026 bookings growth guidance depended on stronger user adoption and engagement than the rollout was producing.
Then, on April 30, 2026, the company revealed that age checks had reduced communication and organic growth, and that only 51% of global daily active users had completed age checks.
$RBLX fell 18.3%, closing at $45.13. Additional revelations followed the same day, including a cut to 2026 bookings growth guidance from 22%–26% to 8%–12%.
By May 1, 2026, shares had dropped to $45.13, representing a total decline of 18.3% over the correction period.
Based on these events, $RBLX investors filed a claim against Roblox, alleging the company:
- It overstated the strength of Roblox’s 2026 growth outlook.
- It downplayed how age checks could reduce communication, engagement, ratings, and organic sign-ups.
- It caused investors to suffer losses when reduced guidance and rollout problems were revealed.
Investors argue Roblox misled the market about its age verification rollout and bookings growth outlook, causing losses when the truth emerged.
