  • $METC investors filed a claim against Ramaco Resources Inc. for allegedly overstating the progress of its Brook Mine project in Wyoming and failing to disclose that no significant mining activity had occurred after the mine's public launch.
  • After a short-seller report revealed alleged inaction at the site, $METC fell 9.6% on October 23, 2025, closing at $36.01.
  • $METC investors can join this case to be notified about potential recovery.

Case Details:

Between July 31, 2025, and October 23, 2025, Ramaco publicly promoted the Brook Mine as a major rare earth development initiative, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony that drew national attention. Executives stated that mining operations had commenced and positioned the site as critical to U.S. supply chain independence.

However, on October 23, 2025, short-seller Wolfpack Research published a report alleging that the Brook Mine was a “Potemkin Mine.” The report included drone footage and multiple site visit observations, showing no visible equipment or active operations at the site three months after the groundbreaking. Wolfpack claimed the company had built the site “for show,” and that Ramaco had not commenced any meaningful mining activity.

Following the report, Ramaco’s stock price dropped $3.81, or 9.6%, closing at $36.01 on unusually high trading volume.

Based on these events, $METC investors filed a claim against Ramaco, alleging the company:

  • It misrepresented the commencement and progress of mining operations at the Brook Mine.
  • It failed to disclose that no significant development activity had occurred since the site’s launch.
  • It overstated the company’s operational readiness and misled the market about its growth prospects.
Investors argue Ramaco misled the public about its mining operations, resulting in losses when the lack of activity was revealed.
